These photos of the mayor of Reykjavík were taken for the cover of Reykjavík Grapevine magazine. They were taken in the midst of his mayoral campaign. To this day I have never had any photograph published as videly as the image of Jón Gnarr jumping. It's been published worldwide in over 15 countries both in books and magazines.
Melville house in New York just published Jón Gnarr's book, "Gnarr – How I became the mayor of a large city in Iceland and changed the world" with the jumping photo on the cover.
